Homerr ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Name, email address, phone number, location data, property listings, payment transaction records, and communications between users on the platform.
To provide rental listing services, facilitate communication between landlords and tenants, process rent payments, and improve the platform. We do not sell your data to third parties.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing privacy@homerr.co.ke.
Under the DPA 2019, you have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data. Contact us at privacy@homerr.co.ke to exercise these rights.
We use industry-standard encryption and secure cloud infrastructure. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. JWT tokens expire after 7 days.
